Margarette Manangan

Margarette Manangan is a 23-year-old multimedia artist, photographer, freelance photojournalist, video editor, and layout artist. She recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in AB Communication from National University – Manila. With a keen eye for detail and a deep passion for storytelling, she crafts compelling visual narratives that evoke emotion and preserve the essence of every captured moment.

Her diverse portfolio includes serving as Chief Photographer of NU The National Publication in 2021, where she honed her ability to document pivotal events with precision and creativity. In 2023–2024, she took on the role of Editor-in-Chief, showcasing her leadership, editorial vision, and unwavering dedication to campus journalism.

Margarette also represented National University as Campus Media during UAAP Season 86, demonstrating her adaptability in high-energy, fast-paced environments. Beyond her publication work, she spearheaded journalism-centered events such as Sinemahayag, a film and journalism seminar for AB Communication students, and The Infodemic, a seminar focused on tackling fake news and disinformation held in Taguig.

She further expanded her creative scope in the advertising and marketing department of a food corporation, where she applied her expertise in photography and layout design to produce compelling visual content for brand campaigns and promotions.

Driven by both artistic vision and a sense of purpose, Margarette is committed to transforming fleeting moments into timeless visual stories—establishing herself as a promising and passionate force in the world of visual communication and media.
